If you are buying a granulated steel roof, make sure to get 5 pounds of granules per 20 square of roofing for aesthetic repairs. This is done by applying an adhesive onto the panel and sprinkling granules into the adhesive.
Choosing the appropriate shingle size, thickness and design is needed since cedar shingles are manufactured differently. If any town/city is hit by a major hailstorm, the local roofers will never be able to keep up with demand. Some people will be waiting for months and months to get their damaged roof fixed. There IS a place for out of town roofers. Due dilligence is your responsibility.
The Environmental Protection Agency considers the white metal roofing systems we install to be “cool roofs.” They have been given this label because they help reflect a good portion of the sun’s heat away from the building.
